My Story

After studying Costume Making and construction at university, graduating way back in 2007 (how has it been nearly 20 years already!?), I’ve worked continuously in theatre ever since be it touring with theatre productions throughout United Kingdom and Internationally before spending more than 10 years working in some of Londons most famous West End Theatres.

I’ve always enjoyed making costumes as well as working on running shows making the day to day repairs, alterations and routines required to enable the show to happen every night.

Everytime a new show opens or a long running show has a change of cast members there is a whole hive of activity working hard together to make/alter/prepare costumes for the performers. I’ve loved being one of the many small but vital cogs getting ready for opening night and beyond. I have specialised in altering costumes and clothing and built up a wealth of knowledge in this area.

After several years of freelance costume making in London, I have relocated my little family to my hometown of the Wirral to be close to extended family and enjoy the wonders of the peninsular and the Wirral Way.

I have a passion for being sustainable and extending the life of our clothes is one way to save items from landfill as well as feeling great in what we are wearing due to great fit
